Nancy L. King Short, 75 of Webster Avenue in Claremont, NH died on April 5, 2014 at her home.

She was born in Lebanon, NH on July 18, 1938 the daughter of Winston James and Zepherine Bernadette (Gingras) King.

Nancy was a graduate of Lebanon High School.

She loved antiques and doing puzzles.

The family includes her son, Richard Benton Adams, Jr of Columbus, OH; two grandchildren, Ashley Adams Johnson and her husband, Joshua of Hagerhill, KY and Christopher Adams and his wife, Isabella of Fort Sill, OK; one great grandson, Dylan Adams; her brother, Norman King; her sister, Dottie Tenney; also her brother-in-law and sister–in-law, Louis LeBlanc and his wife, Sally of Claremont.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Short on January 18, 2011.

A memorial service will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Monday, April 14^th at 2:00PM with Harold Noyes, officiating. Burial will follow in West Claremont Burying Grounds.
