Priscilla V. Gammon, 85, of Case Hill Road in Claremont, NH died on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.

She was born in Berlin, NH on August 6, 1929 the daughter of Charles and Olive Arleta (Record) Vashaw.

Priscilla enjoyed life, church, people, reading, puzzles, Bluegrass Festivals and family reunions.

The family includes her longtime love and companion, Neil Pinkham of Claremont; her daughters, Brenda Vickery and her husband, John of Alajuela, Costa Rica and Joyce Hamel of Lewiston, ME; her sons, Dennis Gammon of Orange, MA, Michael Gammon and his wife, Vicki of Auburn, ME and Rodney Gammon and his wife, Bonnie of Auburn, ME; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; her sisters, Rachel Brisson and her husband, Gerard of Oxford, ME, Eileen Ladd and her husband, Robert of Melborne, FL; her brothers, Charles Farris and his wife, Pauline of Charlestown and Larry Farris of Harrison, ME; also many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Evelyn Austin and Charlotte Wyman and two brothers, Robert Vashaw and Ronald Farris.

Friends and family may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Wednesday, October 8th from 6 to 8PM.

A memorial service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday at 11AM with Eldon Simpson officiating.

Burial will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Claremont on Friday, October 10th at 11AM.
