Sarah Ann Monette, 57, of Enfield, NH died on Tuesday morning, September 16, 2014 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.

She was born in Claremont, NH on October 27, 1956 the daughter of Ernest G. and Evelyn Rachel (Gilchrist) Keneson.

Sarah attended North Charlestown Primary and was a graduate of Fall Mountain High School.

She was the office manager for the State of NH in the DOT District #2 and retired in 2009.

Sarah was an avid reader and enjoyed Star Trek, Harry Potter and Murder She Wrote and liked to collect teddy bears. She loved her cats.

The family includes her husband, Steven Monette of Enfield whom she married on October 5, 1996; her step-son, Christopher Monette and his family of Bath, NH; one grandchild, Jordan; and her brother, Floyd D. Keneson and his family of North Palm Beach, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert W. Keneson in 1954.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 27^th at 1PM at the Gleason Cemetery in Meriden, NH with Donald Jordan officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Arthritis Foundation, a Humane Society of one’s choice or Sarah’s fondest wish- adopt a cat.
