Shirley Ann Branch, 73, of South Hemlock Road in Charlestown, NH died on April 16, 2014 at her home.

She was born in Brighton, VT on February 24, 1941 the daughter of Girard L. and Myrtie (Bumps) Menard.

Shirley had worked for Tambrands, Peterson Plastics and Sylvania throughout her life.

Shirley married Roger A. Branch on November 5, 1957 and he died on April 4, 2004.

Her and Roger liked to go camping and going out to dinner and Saturday night date nights. They loved each other very much.

The family includes one son, Raymond “Wally” Branch and his wife, Laurie of Claremont; one daughter, Terry Johnson and her husband, Charlie of Ascutney, VT; four grandchildren, Shirray Johnson, Nathaniel Johnson, Jessica Branch and Ryan Branch; 9 great grandchildren; her caregivers, Harry and Linda Chesley also several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Girard “Gerry” Branch on September 22, 1993; a grandson, Aaron Branch on November 25, 2007; two brothers, Girard “Sunny” Menard and Raymond Menard.

A memorial service will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Friday, April 25^th at 11AM with Rev. Father Shawn Therrien officiating.

Friends and family may call at the Funeral Home from 10 to 11AM prior to the service. Burial will follow in St Mary Cemetery.
