Veronique M. Nadeau, 84, of Lovers Lane Road in Charlestown, NH, died Thursday morning, May 15, 2014, at Sullivan County Health Care in Unity.

She was born in Newport Center, VT, on November 20, 1929, the daughter of Emile and Estelle (LeMay) Beaudry.

She was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church, a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Charlestown Senior Center.

Veronique loved being a grandmother and spoiling her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed sewing and gardening.

Veronique had worked for Frank’s Bargain Center as a sales clerk for many years and considered Phil Methot of Charlestown as one of her own sons.

She married Rosaire Albert Nadeau on August 31, 1957 and he passed away on August 17, 2004.

The family includes two sons, Albert R. Nadeau of Charlestown and Roger L. Nadeau and wife Suzanne of Walpole; two daughters, Yvonne M. Nadeau and her partner Blaine MacAllister of Chester, VT and Annette E. Nadeau of Crofton, MD; one brother, Normand Beaudry of Charlestown; one sister, Pauline Martineau of Keene; four grandchildren, Adam, Janeau, Nicholas and Micayla; two great grandchildren, Zoe and Mia; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by six brothers, Roger Beaudry, Fernand Beaudry, Rosaire Beaudry, Hervé Beaudry, Gerard Beaudry and Paul Beaudry.

Friends and family may call at the Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main Street, Charlestown, Friday afternoon from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 24, 2014 at one-thirty in the afternoon in St. Catherine of Siena Church in Charlestown with Rev. Steven Lepine, Pastor, officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Catherine Cemetery.
