William H. Stone, 62, of Cottage Street in Claremont, NH died on Tuesday evening, November 18, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Claremont on July 15, 1952 the son of Wendell A. and Irene M. (Dandenault) Stone.

Bill was a graduate of Stevens High School in the class of 1970.

He was Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Army for 1970 to 1972.

Bill and Bonnie had live in New Mexico for 10 years and he was an architect working for Waggoner Associates where did projects for the New Mexico Military Institute.

He had worked for Trumbell-Nelson and his last project was working on the high school. He was member of the Toastmaster International from 1978-1980.

Bill enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family. He loved woodworking and was a master craftsman.

His family includes his wife, BonnieJean (Boivin) Stone of Claremont whom he married on October 25, 1975; two daughters, Angela Stapleton and her husband, Greg of Claremont and Gina Rogers and her husband, Travis of Newfane, VT; two granddaughters, Julia Stapleton and Sophie Rogers; one brother, Stuart Stone of Claremont; one sister, Judy Fairington of South Carolina also several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Wendy Stone.

A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, November 23rd at 11AM at the Claremont Elks Club on Pleasant Street.
