Claire F. Broughton, 79, of Lafayette Street in Claremont, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Elm Wood Center in Claremont.

She was born in Windsor, VT on June 26, 1935 the daughter of Francis Perry, Sr. and Clara (Ellis) Perry.

The family includes her husband, William Broughton of Claremont; her mother, Clara Perry of Unity; one daughter, Karen Johnston of Claremont; five sons, Michael Broughton of CO, Brian Broughton and his wife, Karla of NE, Wesley Broughton of Claremont, Daniel Broughton, Sr. of Claremont, Steven Broughton and his wife, Carole of Windsor, VT; one daughter-in-law, Louise Broughton; one brother, Roland Perry of Unity; one sister, Marie Loranger of FL; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She is predeceased by one son, Rick Broughton; one brother, Francis Perry, Jr., two sisters, Dora Smith and Paula Martell.

Visiting hours will be held at Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 1-2PM.

Funeral services will follow at 2PM at the funeral home.
