Donald D Burbank, 76, passed away February 14, 2015 at his home in Greeneville TN

He was born on March 14, 1938 in Claremont NH.  He graduated from Stevens High School in 1957.  He moved to Florida in 1984 and then retired to Tennessee in 1997.  He was a member of the Army National Guard from 1961-1964.  He was machinist by trade and retired in 1996. He also owned and operated a ceramic business with his wife for 15 years. Donald loved tinkering on anything and he enjoyed woodworking and carving.   He never knew a stranger and would strike up a conversation with anyone.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gloria Simms Burbank, two sons and their spouses; Randy and Pamela Burbank and Cory and Sherry Burbank. Grandchildren, Kaley Burbank Crum, Chelsey Burbank, Trey Burbank & Taylor Burbank.  Great grandson Kayden Burbank , all of Greeneville TN. Two sisters Sandy Hill,of Exeter NH and Cheri Donovan of Memphis TN, Brother-in- law Robert Simms and sister-in-law Deborah Simms, of Claremont NH. Several nieces and nephews 

He was preceded in death by his father Earl Burbank and his mother Marjorie Pevine.

A memorial service will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Friday, July 31^st at 11AM.

Visiting hours will be held from 10 to 11AM prior to the service.
