Dorothy J. Russo, 83, of Claremont, NH died on June 29, 2015 at the Elm Wood Center in Claremont.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 12, 1931 the daughter of Frank R. and Nettie (Simons) Munson.

She graduated from Johnston High School in 1949.

Dorothy was owner and operator of Colonial Beauty Shop for over 20 years.

The family includes her son, David Vedder and his wife, Dianne; grandchildren, Carol Healy and her husband, Matt and Jennifer Vedder; step grandchildren, Marie Wesoja and her partner, Jim Cambell, Jolene Chappell and her husband, Rick and Jojo Paquin and his wife, Brianna; 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Russo whom she married on December 14, 1963 and he died in 2003 and her brother, Frank R. Munson.
