Harriet Alice Kessell, 69, of Claremont, NH passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.

She was born on January 3, 1946 in Middletown, CT a descendent of two pilgrims from the 1620 Mayflower and the daughter of Lance Sherwood and Phoebe Marie (Nelson) Parker.

Harriet enjoyed listening to books on tape, and before she lost her eye sight she enjoyed painting, cooking, knitting and crocheting. The proudest days of her life was the day of her marriage and the day her son was born. Most important to her was spending time with her family.

The family includes her husband, Robert W. Kessell Sr whom she married on July 1, 1967; her son, Robert W. Kessell Jr both of Claremont; her brother Lance S. Parker Jr. of the shoreline in CT; her sister, Karen J. Scarpa of Ansonia, CT and many nieces and nephews, many grand nieces and nephews, and many great grand nieces and nephews

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 12^th in St Mary Cemetery in Claremont at 11AM with Father Shawn Therrien officiating.
