Jeanne A. George, beloved wife, of Richard R. George and devoted mother and grandmother, died quietly at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center on January 7, 2015. 

Jeanne was born in 1939 in Newport, VT to Wilfred and Desneiges Labrecque.

She resided in Claremont for most of her life and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1957.

She is survived by her husband, her son, Richard Scott George of Washington, DC; her daughter, Gina George Morse and son-in-law, Peter L. Morse of Chicago, IL; three grandchildren, Laura, Daniel and Julia Morse; other surviving cherished family members include her sister, Irene Papps and family, sister-in-law Sheila Moore and husband and aunt, Lucille Viens.

There will be no services or visiting hours.

Arrangements are with the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont, NH.
