Lawrence G. Wilson, 83, of Grove Street in Claremont, NH passed away on December 31, 2014 at Valley Regional Hospital.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Claremont born on March 20, 1931, the son of William and Annie (Gaffney) Wilson.

Lawrence was a graduate of Stevens High School in the class of 1948.

He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the US Army.

He enjoyed spending time with his family.

The family includes his wife, Evelyn (Garneau) Wilson whom he married on    September 1, 1956; his children, Michael Wilson and his wife, Raelene, Patricia Witthaus and her husband, Michael and Thomas Wilson and his wife, Terri all of Claremont; his grandchildren, Maria and Krista Wilson, Jeremy Wilson, Patrick, Meghan and Emily Witthaus; two great grandchildren, Karson Hussey and Stella McClay; one sister, Mary Wilson of Albuquerque, NM and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, William Wilson.

Friends and family may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Thursday, January 8^th from 8:30 to 10:30AM.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at St Joseph Church on Thursday morning at 11AM with Father George Majka officiating.

A reception will immediately follow in the church hall.
