Neal Edwin Rice, 49, of Stuart, FL died on Monday, June 22, 2015.

He was born in Pensacola, FL on September 12, 1965 the son of Neal O. and Anne Shirley (Russell) Rice.

Neal had been a carpenter working for Brown Builders and Rn Buck and had also done masonry work in South Carolina.

He was a Trustee for the Moose Club in Stuart, FL where he called Bingo and did a lot of volunteering. He was a member of the American Legion Post 29 in Claremont.

The family includes his father, Neal and his wife, Judy of Charlestown; two sisters, Cherie Brown and her husband, Robert and Valorie Rice and Cecil all of Charlestown; a step brother, Bruce Hosmer and step sister, Vicki Hosmer; his grandmother, Evelyn Michalenoick; three nieces and nephews, Christopher Brown, Sarah Lane and Aaron Brown; his close uncle who was like a brother, David and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Anne.

A memorial service will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Friday, July 3^rd at 11AM with Marthe Dyner officiating.

Visiting hours will be held from 10 to 11AM prior to the service.
