Richard E. Strong of Claremont passed away on March 6, 2015 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.

He was born in Claremont, NH on August 14, 1948 the son of Barbara E. Strong Johnson.

Richard loved his grandchildren, fishing, football and taking long rides with his wife and friends. Most recently before retirement he worked at the Eagle Times, delivering the paper.

He is survived by his wife, Denise M (Davis) Strong whom he married on February 19, 1994; his daughter, Krystal-Leigh (Strong) Anzalone and her husband, Christopher and their children, Alleigh, Caitlyn, Jacob and Chloe; his son, Richard L. Strong and his wife, Christin (Gaudette) and their son, Jonah all of Claremont; as well as his siblings, nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his mother and grandson, Johnathan E. Anzalone.

A memorial service will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Wednesday, March 11^th at 11AM with Priscilla Hull officiating.
