Wallace Lovell Nunn, 82, of Claremont, NH died on May 30, 2015 at the Sullivan County Healthcare Center in Unity, NH.

He was born in Peacham, VT on July 17, 1932 the son of Hylan Isaiah and Winifred Jane (Powers) Nunn.

He worked for the City of Claremont on the Highway Dept., Cemetery Dept., and at the transfer station.

The family includes his wife, Catherine D. (Carroll) Nunn whom he married on October 21, 1989; his son, Daniel A. Nunn and his wife, Jane of Roanoke, VA; his daughter, Merrilee Dodge and her husband, Tony of Fair Play, SC; four grandsons, Lane Mitchell, Chase Mitchell, Adam Dodge and Aaron Dodge; one great grandchild; two brothers, Hylan “Jake” Nunn and William “Pete” Nunn also one sister, Roberta “Bert” Westcott.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lena Nunn; his parents and one sister, Madonna Nunn.

Visiting hours will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8PM.

A memorial service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday morning, June 4^th at 11AM with Pastor Scott Kearns officiating.

Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
