Francis D. Wooddell, 59, of the Bellows Falls Road in Charlestown, NH, died Friday evening, September 1, 2006 at his home.

He was born in Cambridge, NY on May 5, 1947 the son of Albert G. and Irene (Granger) Wooddell, Sr. and had resided in Charlestown for the past twelve years.

He retired due to disability in 2003 from Tambrands, Inc where he worked for three years as a machine operator and had previously worked at J.H. Dunning, in N. Walpole.

He loved hunting, fishing, playing poker and enjoyed talking about classic cars.

The surviving family includes his wife, Linda (Grossman) Wooddell of Charlestown whom he married on March 23, 1985; one daughter, Paula Gardner of Saratoga, NY; five sons, Christopher Wooddell of Stillwater, NY, Justin Wooddell of Charlestown, Shawn Kerr of Troy, NY, Brian Kerr of Chicopee, MA  and Kevin Kerr of Cambridge, NY;  eight grandchildren, Shawn Kerr, Jr., Mackenzie Kerr, Emma Kerr, Sydney Wooddell, Nicole Wooddell, Austin Gardner, Troy Gardner and Lillian Gardner; his mother, Irene Wooddell of Cambridge, NY; two brothers, Albert Wooddell, Jr. and Edward Wooddell; four sisters, Rose Kelly, Beverly Hunt, Tracy Wooddell and Billy Jo Morris; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was pre-deceased by his father and one brother, Floyd Wooddell.

A time of fellowship and sharing will be held at the Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main Street, Charlestown on Tuesday evening, Sept. 5^th , from 5 to 7 PM with a memory time from 6:30 to 7 PM
