Henry M. Provencher, 90, formerly of Madison Place in Claremont, died Monday
morning, June 6, 2005 at the Sullivan County Nursing Home.

He was born in St. Denis, P.Q. Canada on April 28, 1915 the son of
Telesphore and Antoinette (Vandal) Provencher and had resided in Claremont
for the past eighty-five years.  He retired in 1978 from Joy Manufacturing
Company where he worked as a machinist for thirty-eight years.  Mr.
Provencher was a communicant of St Joseph Church and was a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 1201.

The surviving family includes his wife, Evelyn (Blake) Provencher of
Claremont, whom he married on Oct. 5, 1991; one daughter, Anne Ricker of
Charlestown; three grandchildren, Robert Ricker, Dana Ricker and Deborah
Snide;  seven great-grandchildren, Hannah, Mathew, Abigail, April, Michael,
Amanda and Natasha; also nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Emile Provencher in 1977; three
sisters, Alice Davis in 1975, Mrs. Anthony (Bertha) Zotto in 1998 and Mrs.
Dennis (Yvonne) Greenwood in 2004.   Graveside memorial services will be
held Friday afternoon, June 10th at One-Thirty in St Mary's Cemetery with
Rev. Stanley J. Piwowar, Pastor of St Joseph Church, officiating.

The family suggest that donations may be made in his memory to the American
