Ingvar J. Haugsrud, 86, of Leesburg, FL died June 22, 2007 at the Wildwood
Nursing Home in Leesburg, FL.

He was born in Romedal, Norway on September 9, 1920 the son of John and Inga
(Larsen) Haugsrud.  He was raised in Claremont, graduating from Stevens High
School in the Class of 1939.  He was a veteran, having served in the Army
National Guard with the 197th Coastal Artillery Division.

He lived in Lebanon and Hanover for several years and worked for Excelsior
Mills in Lebanon and as a clerk for the US Post Office in Hanover and
retired in 1982 to Florida where he lived in several places for the past few
years.  He enjoyed woodworking and fishing.

He was a member of the Elks Club and the Sons of Norway.

The surviving family includes his wife, Joyce Haugsrud of Leesburg, FL whom
he married on April 14, 1995; two daughters, Faith Sederquist of Beverly, MA
and Beth Pedersen of Claremont; one step-daughter, Bonnie Haversat of
Leesburg, FL; two grandchildren, Kelly Chesley and Scott Sederquist; one
sister, Aogot Burke of Danvers, MA and nieces and nephews.  He was
predeceased by his first wife, Anita (Blake) Haugsrud in 1981 and two
brothers, John and Charles.

A memorial service will be held July 20th at One O'clock in the Stringer
Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street with Rev. Canon Marthe F. Dyner, Rector of
the Union Episcopal Church, officiating.  Interment will follow in Union
Cemetery.
