Graveside committal services for Kenneth Charles Smith, 69, of Nichols Road in Lempster, NH, who died February 10, 2005 at his home, will be held Saturday morning, May 21st at Eleven O'clock in Hope Hill Cemetery in North Charlestown.  Rev. Father Stanley J. Piwowar, Pastor of St Joseph Church will officiate.  He was a graduate of Stevens High School in the Class of 1954 and  Thompson School of Agriculture at UNH in 1962.   He served in the US Air Force after Korea.   He had resided in Lempster since 1988.  He retired in 2000 from Kathan Gardens in Newport where he worked for twenty years.   The surviving family includes his wife, Thirza Pamela (Gear) Smith, of Lempster, whom he married on March 29, 1958;  one son, Shane A. Smith of Concord;  two grandchildren, Danielle and Mason; one sister, Patricia Parent of Lebanon; two brothers, Ronald Smith of Claremont and The Villages, FL and Ray Smith, Jr. of Claremont; five aunts; one uncle and nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was pre-deceased by one brother, Philip Smith.
