Richard D. Tarr, 38, of Henry Street in Claremont, died Thursday evening,
June 16, 2005 at the Valley Regional Hospital.

He was born in Claremont, NH on July 20, 1966 the son of Bert and Jane
(Richard) Tarr and had lived in Claremont all his life.  He graduated from
Stevens High School in 1984.  Richard had been self-employed for several
years as the owner of Clean Master Chimney Sweep.

Richard enjoyed spending time with his wife and children.  He always said
they were "his trophies".  He and his son, Joe, enjoyed dirt biking, playing
basketball, watching basketball playoffs, fishing, working on go carts
together and playing Nintendo.  He and his daughter Tapanga enjoyed their
father and daughter dates, going to the Royal Dragon and ordering a pupu
platter just for two, going to the movies, attending her dance recitals,
their father and daughter dances, riding dirt bikes, playing cards and her
special teddy bear that he bought her.

The family includes his wife, Crystal (Ferland) Tarr, whom he married in
1993; two sons, Richard Scott and Joseph Donald; three daughters, Stacy
Lynn, Tapanga Racheall and Felicity Rachel; two grandchildren; his mother,
Jane and  stepfather, John Joyce; three sisters, Jean Bell of Bell, Florida,
Cyndie Souza of Derry, NH and Christina Carroll of West Newfield, ME; one
brother, Scott Chase Tarr of Seattle, WA and several nieces, nephews and
cousins.  He was pre-deceased by his father, Bert Tarr in 1984 and a nephew,
Matthew Carroll in 1992.

A time of fellowship and sharing will be held Monday evening from 6 to 8 PM
at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont.

Interment will be private in Mt View Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an account  in his memory
established at the Citizens Bank in Claremont, set up for the minor children
in the name of Crystal Tarr.
