Roxanna Lee Dubé, 68, formerly of 7 Heritage Drive in Claremont and a long
time resident of Newport, died Tuesday afternoon, October 9, 2007 at the
Sullivan County Health Care in Unity.

She was born in Meriden, NH on April 11, 1939 the daughter of Arthur and
Ester (West) LaClair.

She worked as a chambermaid in the 70’s at the Newport Motel in Newport for
several years and was a housewife and homemaker for her family which she
loved and especially enjoyed her grandchildren.

Roxanna enjoyed baking, crocheting, camping, sewing, of which she made
wedding gowns and alterations and loved soap operas.

She was the widow of Raymond Dubé whom she married on March 21, 1959 and he
died November 22, 2001.

The surviving family includes three daughters, Jacklynn Diane Green of
Newport, Janice Lee Tyler of Claremont and Amanda Jean Dubé of Enfield; two
grandsons; three granddaughters; one great-grandson; four
great-granddaughters; one sister, Bette Stockwell of Plainfield; one
brother, Robert Cutts of Wallingford, CT and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Cecile LaClair and Stanley Cutts and
two sisters, Louise Durgin and Jessie Westgate.

Graveside committal services will be held Saturday afternoon, October 13th
at Two O’clock in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Newport with Rev. Donna Leslie,
Pastor of the Croydon Flat Congregational Church, officiating.

A time of fellowship and sharing will be held at Amanda & Larry’s Home  in
Enfield following the services.
