Allen Dean Austin, Sr., 45, of Chase Street in Claremont, NH, died Saturday
morning, November 19, 2005 at his home surrounded by his family following a
year long battle with cancer.

He was born in New London, NH on February 24, 1960 the son of Maurice
Coleman and Beverly Ann (Chartrand) Austin, Jr. and had resided in Newport
most of his life and in Claremont for the past two months.

He was employed as a truck driver for Continental Paving Company, Inc. of
Concord, where he worked for the past three years and had previously worked
for the State of New Hampshire Highway Department for nearly fifteen years
and also at Pine Tree Castings in Newport.

Mr. Austin was a member of the N.R.A. the Twin Ridge Snowmobile Club and the Shugah River Snowmobile Club.

He enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting and spending time with his family.

The surviving family includes his wife, Bertha M. (Heino) Austin of
Claremont whom he married on July 17, 1982; two daughters, Amy M. Austin and Robin H. Austin both of Claremont; one son, Allen D. Austin, Jr. of Newport;
two grandchildren, Alexander and Allison; his parents, of Sunapee; one
sister, Rebecca "Becky" Eaton of Lempster; one brother, Shawn Austin of
Sunapee; also aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont
on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon, November 23rd at One
O'clock in the Funeral Home with Rev. Priscilla Hull, Officiating.

Interment will be at a later date.
