Ann Christine Hedlin, 54, of Green Street in Claremont, NH, died Wednesday morning, February 15, 2006 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Hartford, CT on March 29, 1951 the daughter of George Hartvig and Elizabeth Ann-Mary (LaChapelle) Hedlin and had resided in Claremont for over twenty-five years, She worked at the Dartmouth Woolen Mill and Dorr Woolen Mill, and as a pottery glazer at Simon Pearce and also part time at the Jiffy Mart on Maple Avenue. She is survived by three brothers, Richard J. Unger of Port Charlotte, FL, George H. Hedlin, Jr. of Brattleboro, VT and Steven A. Hedlin of Willimantic, CT; nieces and nephews and several special care givers including, Kathy Falvey of Connecticut, Dianne L. Walker and her longtime companion, Christine Bacher both of Claremont. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Unger. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday afternoon, February 25th at Two O'clock in the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont, NH with Pastor Priscilla Hull, officiating. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Saturday afternoon from one to two prior to the services. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one"s choice. |
