Arlene P. Howe, 78, formerly of Windsor, VT, died Friday morning, August 12,
2005 at the Hanover Terrace Nursing Home in Hanover, NH.

She was born in Charlestown, NH on November 15, 1926 the daughter of Levi
Warren and Gladys (Benware) Rumrill and had resided in Windsor, VT for over
thirty years.

She was the widow of Donald Alfred Howe, Sr. who died in 1970.

The surviving family includes four daughters, Dale A. Odette and Ethel G.
Howe both of Windsor, VT, Sheila R. Jackson of Ascutney, VT and Cheryl R.
Buchanan of Claremont; three sons, Mark A. Howe of Canaan, Lyle M. Howe and Almont L. Howe both of Claremont; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Marion Rumrill of Windsor, VT; and nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by one son, Donald A. Howe, Jr.

There are no visiting hours.

Graveside committal services will be held Monday morning, Aug. 15th at
Eleven O'clock in Mt View Cemetery with Rev. Margaret Long, Pastor of the
First United Methodist Church, officiating.
