Bernadette H. Pepin, 96, formerly of Hillside Terrace, died Friday evening,
June 10, 2005 at the Sullivan County Nursing Home.

She was born in Bromont, P.Q. Canada on November 26, 1908 the daughter of
Philias and Rose Emma (Perusse) Huot and had resided in Claremont since
1923.

Mrs. Pepin worked at the Old Sullivan Machine Company in the office for six
years, Claremont Flock Company for two years, the Claremont Shoe Shop and
the International Shoe Shop for twenty years.

She was a communicant of St Mary's Church, member and former treasurer for
nine years of the St. Anne Society and a former member of the St. Jean
Society.

She was the widow of Emile G. Pepin who died May 24, 1971.

The surviving family includes one sister, Beatrice Turmel of Granby, PQ
Canada and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The Turmel family acknowledge the entire staff at the Sullivan County
Nursing Home as well as Philip and Mary Chicoine, Devra Chicoine and Ivan Perron for all the wonderful care they gave to Bernadette.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont
on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning, June 13th at
Eleven O'clock in St Mary's Church with Rev. Shawn M. Therrien, Pastor,
officiating.  Interment will follow in St Mary Cemetery.
