Blanche Eva Rogers, 91, died Thursday morning, October 12, 2006
at the home of her daughter on Country Club Drive in Manchester, NH.

She was born in Claremont, NH on June 21, 1915 the daughter of Louis and
Aurore (Huot) Bedard.  She resided in Claremont for 81 years and lived in
Manchester for the past 10 years.  Mrs. Rogers was a graduate of St Mary's
High School in the Class of 1934. 

Blanche worked in the area shoe shops, was a clerk at Hornick Jewelry Store,
Fishman's and Newberry's Department Stores.  She was also the custodian for
the Masonic Lodge and did domestic work for the Shulin family.  Mrs. Rogers
was a communicant of St Mary's Church, a member of the St Anne Society,
Court Virgil H. Barber #892 Catholic Daughters of the Americas and a former
member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.

The surviving family includes her husband, Philip L. Rogers of Manchester
whom she married on November 24, 1938; one daughter, Patricia A. Webster of
Manchester; two sons, Robert L. Rogers of Detour, MI and Richard J. Rogers
of Titusville, FL; nine grandchildren; eight great-grand-children; two
great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  She was pre-deceased by
two sisters Rose Morreau Dauphine in 1993 and Lillian D. Vigneault in 2004.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning,
October 18th at Eleven O'clock in St Mary's Church in Claremont.

Interment will follow in St Mary's Cemetery. 

Following the interment a time of fellowship and refreshments will be held
in St Mary's Gym.
