Carol Lee Amell, 56, of Maple Avenue in Claremont, died Tuesday evening,
March 22, 2005 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Claremont, NH on August 3, 1948 the daughter of Clifford and
Helen (Neal) Davidson.   Carol was a graduate of St Mary's High School in
the Class of 1966.  She lived in South Hampton, MA and Webster, MA for
twelve years and returned to Claremont in 1980.

Carol was employed at the Claremont School District for the past eighteen
years as an Administrative Assistant.

She was a devoted wife, mother and friend and loved camping and spending
time with her group of special friends.   She was a communicant and very
active member and Eucharistic Minister of St Mary's Church, a   member of
the  1st NH Fife & Drum and Cub Scout Pack 38 of Claremont.

The surviving family, all residing in Claremont, include her husband, Wayne
C. Amell whom she married on May 30, 1992; four sons, Michael Carbee and his
wife, Temple, Daniel Carbee and his wife, Jennifer,  Bradley Amell and
Trisha Colburn and Nathan Amell and Jen Connolly; four grandchildren, Izaha
Amell, Gabriel Amell, Alexander Amell and Fionah Carbee;  her father,
Clifford Davidson;  one brother, Lynn Davidson; one sister, Rosemary
Richards;  her mother-in-law, Theresa Amell; her sister-in-law, Nancy Wilmot
and her husband, William, also two aunts, one uncle, nieces, nephews,
cousins and many very special friends.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street on Sunday,
March 27th from 5 to 8 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning at Eleven
O'clock in St Mary's Church with  Rev. Father Richard St Louis Pastor of St
Patrick's Church in Newport, Officiating.

Interment will follow in St Mary Cemetery.
