Cedric T. "Rick" Lumbra, 95, formerly of Pine Street in Charlestown, NH died
Monday morning, July 3, 2006 at Springfield Health and Rehabilitation Center
in Springfield, VT. 

He was born in Montgomery Center, VT on May 18, 1911, the son of George S.
and Matilda J. (Guilmette) Lumbra and had resided in Charlestown for the
past fifty-seven years and previously lived in Springfield, VT.

Mr. Lumbra worked as an electrical foreman at Jones & Lamson Machine Co. in
Springfield, VT and started Rick's Electric on Main Street in Charlestown in
1946 and is still operated by the family today.

Rick was a communicant of St Catherine of Siena Church, a member of the
Charlestown Council Knights of Columbus, the Fourth Degree Assembly Knights
of Columbus and was a former member and Past President of the Charlestown
Rotary Club.

He was the widower of Eva E. (DeLaire) Lumbra whom he married on June 8,
1933 and she died May 8, 2003.

The surviving family includes one son, Larry D. Lumbra and his wife, Barbara
of Charlestown; one daughter, Judith A. Noone and her late husband, Thomas
of North Abington, MA; eight grandchildren, Deborah Johnson, Belinda
Schadler, Peter Lumbra, Kathy Mendoza, Cindy D'Amato, Laura DeSisto, Thomas
Noone and Timothy  Noone; thirteen great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews
and cousins.

He was pre-deceased by a sister, Ramona; two brothers, Melbourne and
Wellington and one nephew, David.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning, July 5th at
Ten O'clock in St Catherine of Siena Church on Main Street in Charlestown
with Rev. Michael E. Gendron, Pastor, officiating.

Interment will follow in St Catherine of Siena Cemetery.

The Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main Street in Charlestown is in charge
of arrangements.
