Charles Edward "Charlie" Yurek II died comfortably in his bed on April 5th after a mean battle with cancer. Charlie was born at Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont on November 23, 1980, son of Charles Edward "Chuck" Yurek and Ramona Lynn "Mona" Yurek. He was predeceased by his mother Ramona Lynn Yurek and his cousin John "Sam" Anderson. He will live on through his fiancé, Hillary Berry of Claremont, his father Chuck Yurek of Claremont and his sister Heather Dattel of Connecticut. His memory also lives on through sixteen aunts and uncles and seventeen cousins. Charlie was a die-hard Red Sox fan, never missing a game. His loyalty lies with all New England teams. He was an All-State baseball player for Stevens High School. Charlie loved everything outdoor; throwing a baseball, taking a walk, landscaping or just hitting a round of golf with friends. Charlie absolutely loved practicing his craft of woodworking at North Country Door and Cabinetry with all of his friends there. Charlie was the kindest and most gentle man. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Claremont Youth Baseball/Softball Association, PO Box 212, Claremont, NH 03743. We, his family, ask that all who knew and loved him remember him for the fun loving spirit he will eternally be. There will be no calling hours or funeral. |
