Charlotte P. Lessard, 72, of Hillside Terrace in Claremont, died Saturday
afternoon, March 4, 2006 at the Valley Regional Hospital surrounded by her
family.

She was born in Newport, NH on January 7, 1934 the daughter of Edward and A.
Marjorie (Hurd) Rossiter.  She was raised in Goshen and had resided in
Claremont most of her life.

Mrs. Lessard retired in 1985 from Southwestern Community Services where she
worked as a clerk for fifteen years and had previously worked at various
department stores on Pleasant Street and at Joy Manufacturing Company as a
mail clerk.

She loved dancing, playing and listening to piano music and enjoyed going
out for coffee.

The surviving family includes her husband, R. Joe Lessard of Claremont;
three daughters, Debra Parkhurst of Claremont, Linda Hollinrake of
Manchester and Sandra Collins of N. Clarendon, VT; seven grandchildren;
three great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard Rossiter of Croydon; four
sisters, Madelyn McAlpine of Claremont, Patricia Osgood of West Palm Beach,
FL and Claremont, Betty Pierce of Claremont and Catherine Thurston of
Newport also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was pre-deceased by one brother, Robert Rossiter in 2004.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 11th at One-Thirty in the
afternoon, in the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street with Rev. Father
Stanley J. Piwowar, Pastor, officiating.

The family suggest that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her
