Denise T. Shaban, 70, of Orchard Lane in Windsor, VT, died Thursday
afternoon, May 11, 2006   She was born in Claremont, NH on October 20, 1935
the daughter of Albert J. and Irene R. (Picard) Theroux and had resided in
Windsor, VT since 1961.  Denise was a graduate of St Mary's High School in
the Class of 1953.

Denise was a wonderful mother, meme and wife.  Her passion was her family,
wherever they went, she went, whether it was watching soccer in the rain,
babysitting sick little ones or conquering her fear of flying to travel to
Florida, her family was her world. 

Denise's kind heart and spirit were infectious to others, she was always
there to help and could never say "no" to her grandchildren.

Denise's beautiful smile and loving spirit will never be forgotten.  Now she
smiles upon us all with the rest of her family, Mom, Dad, Alicia & Claire.

Denise spent 20 years at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Hitchcock
Clinic and retired in 1999.  She had previously worked at the
Windsor-Goodyear Credit Union, also at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical
Center, Pediatric Ward as a nurse's aid and at the Peoples National Bank in
Claremont.

Mrs. Shaban was a communicant of St Joseph's Church and taught religion
classes.  She was on the French Program on WTSV radio many years ago. Denise
was a member of the Windsor Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

Her loving  family includes her husband, Bernard P. Shaban of Windsor, VT;
two sons, Christopher A. Shaban and his wife, Kathy of Claremont and
Mitchell B. Shaban and his wife, Lorri of Clermont, FL; one daughter,
Stephanie A. Hubert and her husband, Thomas of Newport;  eight
grandchildren, Kyle, Courtney, Jackson, Cooper, Hannah, TJ, Nicholas and
Sophie also several nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her
parents and two sisters, Claire Anita Patch on Mar. 13, 1999 and Alicia
Evelyn Buinicky on Dec. 27, 1999.  She is much loved and missed.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont
on Monday afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning, May 16th at
Eleven O'clock in St Joseph Church on Elm Street in Claremont with Rev.
Father Stanley J. Piwowar, Pastor, officiating.

Interment will follow in St Mary's Cemetery.
