Dorothy Mae Thomas, 83, of Hillside Terrace in Claremont, died Tuesday
afternoon, July 24, 2007 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in
Lebanon.

She was born in Marlborough, MA on April 5, 1924 the daughter of Matthew M.
and Georgianna (Marchand) Green and had resided in Claremont since 1973.

Mrs. Thomas worked as a waitress at Tom's Restaurant from 1973 to 1983 and
later as a sales clerk at Woolworth's for nearly ten years.

She was the widow of Robert Francis Thomas who died in July 7, 1978.

The surviving family includes one son, Mark E. Thomas of Hillsboro; two
daughters, Jacquelyn Johnson of Lebanon and Mary Elizabeth Strand of
Olympia, WA; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Marion
Aldrich of Upton, MA and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon, July 30th at One-Thirty in
the Stringer Funeral Home with Rev. Father Shawn M. Therrien, Pastor of St
Mary's Church, officiating.   Interment will follow in Mt View Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Monday from 12 noon to 1:30 prior to
the services.
