Edith M. "Peanut" LaBounty, 60, of Granite Street in Allenstown, NH, died Sunday, July 30, 2006 at the Concord Hospital. She was born in Rutland, VT on May 17, 1946 the daughter of Thomas and Edith (Woodward) Butler.  Edith was raised in Ludlow, VT resided in Claremont most of her life and lived in Allenstown for the past five years. She loved her family, enjoyed fishing, bingo and going to Foxwood. The surviving family includes her husband, Clifton E. LaBounty, Jr. of Allenstown whom she married on June 23, 1962;  one son, Clifton E. LaBounty, III of Claremont; two grandchildren, Joseph LaBounty and Nichole LaBounty; five sisters, Betty Curavod of Benson, VT, Beatrice Butler of Cavendish, VT, Jeanie Rist of Wallingford, VT, Mary Ann Courcelle of Castleton, VT and Linda Garld of Virginia; five brothers, Thomas Butler of West Rutland, VT, Billy Butler of West Rutland, VT, Johnny Butler of Mount Holly, VT, Stephen Butler of Manchester, NH, and James Butler of Rutland, VT; also many nieces and nephews.  She was pre-deceased by her father, Thomas, in 2002 and her mother Edith, in 2003. A time of fellowship and sharing will be held Thursday, August 3rd at one-thirty in the afternoon in the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont.  Interment will be at a later date.
