Edna Adams Farrell, 89, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, died June 24,
2005 at the Haven Health Center of Claremont.

She was born on April 18, 1916 the daughter of Frank L. and Fannie M.
(Fiske) Adams.  She graduated from Charlestown High School and Baypath
Business Institute.  In 1946, she married Henry Joseph Farrell and continued
to make her home in Charlestown.

She was employed at the Silsby Library in Charlestown until the fall of 2002
and previously drove school buses for many years.

Mrs. Farrell was a 56 year member of Mizpah-Eunice Chapter #30 Order of
Eastern Star of Charlestown/Langdon and had been a Past Matron and Past NH Grand Officer, a 20 year plus member of the Conservation Commission, a long time member of the Grange, the Charlestown Historical Society, the Garden Club and served as ballot clerk for many years.  She was also a very active and lifetime member of the South Parish Unitarian Church of Charlestown.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Gladys (Farrell) O'Connor of Saxton
River, VT and several nieces and nephews and their children, who were an
important part of her life.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, three brothers, Oscar, Leslie and Leon
Adams and two sisters, Clara Knowles and Elsie Cromwell.

There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, August 6th at One-Thirty in
the South Parish Unitarian Church, South Main Street in Charlestown, with
Rev. Arthur Reublinger, Interim Pastor, officiating.

A time of fellowship will follow in the parish hall following the services.
 
A graveside service was held, June 27th in Forest Hills Cemetery on East
Street in Charlestown.
