Edward William Jarvis, 73, of Little Canada Road in Weathersfield, Vt, died
Saturday, October 28, 2006 at his home.

He was born in Claremont, NH on January 16, 1933 the son of Francis and
Florence A. (Wells) Jarvis and had resided in Weathersfield all his life.

He was in the US Navy for eight years and was discharged in 1960.

Mr. Jarvis was self employed and owned and operated Ed's A-1 Wholesale in
Chester, Vt for over twenty years.

He loved hunting and fishing.

The surviving family includes his wife, Carol A. (Cook) Jarvis, of
Weathersfield, Vt, whom he married on November 25, 1961; three sons, Edward
of Weathersfield, Vt, Jeff and Harry both of Claremont; one daughter,
Florence Wheeler of Wilmot, NH; eleven grandchildren; one sister, Clara
Greenwood of Claremont and nieces and nephews and cousins.   He was
pre-deceased by one son, Arthur in 2004 and one infant daughter, Susan.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont
on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning, November 1st at Eleven
O'clock in the Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Ascutneyville Cemetery in Weathersfield, Vt.
