Edwin C. Davis, 58, formerly of Lovers Lane Road in Charlestown, died
Thursday, November 1, 2007 at the Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington, VT
where he had resided for the past year.

He was born in Bellows Falls, VT on September 10, 1949 the son of Harry and
Eveline Lula (Rolfe) Davis and had resided in Charlestown most of his life
and in Claremont at Pine Crest Mobile Home Park for the past several years.
He worked as a carpenter by trade.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict having served in the US Navy.

Edwin enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters and fishing.

The surviving family includes one son, Sabbith A. Davis of Claremont; two
granddaughters, Branna Audrey Davis and November Ray Moore; one brother,
William Davis of Charlestown; two sisters, Grace White of Cambridgeport, VT
and Kathleen Hutchinson of Charlestown also nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was pre-deceased by a brother, Albert Davis in 2002.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday evening, Nov. 7th at Six O'clock
at the Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main Street in Charlestown with Rev.
Robin Greene, Chaplain at the Vermont Veterans Home, officiating.

Friends may call at the Chapel from 4 to 6 PM on Wednesday.
