Elizabeth P. Hopper went suddenly to be with her Savior on Saturday, May 20,
2006.  She was born in Auburn, NY, the daughter of John A. and Loretta Irene
(Bisgrove) Pausley.  She attended Auburn schools and Moody Bible Institute
where she was a music major singing with the WMBI Radio choir under the
direction of George Beverly Shea.  She left Moody and began a short business
career at American Locomotive during the war years.  She met and married
Yeoman 2nd Class Robert Hopper in 1944.  Upon the conclusion of WWII, they
settled in Westwood, NJ.

She is survived by her husband and children David (Deborah) Hopper of
Westwood, NJ, Robert (Ruth Ellen) Hopper, Jr. of Hudson, FL and Mary Beth
(John) Heckel of North Rose, WY; grandchildren, Tricia (Terry) Johnson,
Robert III, Jonathan and Jeffrey Hopper, John Heckel, Sarah (John) Sheldon
and one great grandchild, Kendall Johnson.

Betty was active in choral work in Westwood Reformed Church and the
auxiliary of the Pascack Valley Hospital as well as Meals on Wheels.  Upon
the sale of their Westwood home they moved to Claremont and attended the
Congregational Church of Claremont and the Windsor Free Church and was later
a member of the First Congregational Church of Woodstock where again she was
active in the choir of the church.

On Thursday, May 25th at 11 AM at the First Congregational Church of
Woodstock, VT, Rev. Norman Koop will hold a memorial service in testimony of
Christ in her life.  Betty was a loving inspiration to all her family and
friends.
