Elma Hernandez Nelson, 50 of Highland View Road, formerly of 254 Pleasant
Street in Claremont, died Saturday,  September 15, 2007 at the
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.  She was born in Lima Cortez,
Honduras on July 4, 1957.  Elma was predeceased by her parents.

She was educated in Honduras and came to the United States.  She worked at
Papa Ginos and Wal-Mart and in recent years was a home maker.

The surviving family includes her husband, Paul Stephen Nelson of Claremont
whom she married on December 6, 1987; four sons, Paul "Alex" Nelson of
Claremont, Nedy Hernandez of Honduras, Philip Pennington of Concord and
Donald Pennington of Houston, TX; one daughter, Alexis Pennington of
Claremont; three grandchildren, Dante, Kaylie and Myles;  two sisters, three
brothers, nieces, nephews and cousins all of Honduras.

There are no visiting hours.  The Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in
Claremont is in charge of arrangements.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning, September
19th at Eleven O'clock at St Joseph Church with Rev. Father Stanley J.
Piwowar, Pastor, officiating.

Interment will follow in St Mary's Cemetery.
