Elsie Linfield Batchelder, 91, formerly of Old Claremont Road in Charlestown, died Saturday morning, August 26, 2006 at the Haven Health Center of Claremont. She was born in Somerville, MA on January 4, 1915 the daughter of Arthur R, and Dorothy (Milne) Linfield. Mrs. Batchelder worked as a business manager of a mapping company. She was the widow of James William Batchelder. The surviving family includes a nephew, Peter Dale of Gig Harbor, WA. A graveside committal service will be held Tuesday afternoon, August 29th at Two O'clock in Pine Crest Cemetery in Charlestown.
