Ernest Alfred Scott, 70, of Baldwin Court in Charlestown, NH, died Monday,
June 4, 2007 at the Cheshire Medical Center in Keene.

He was born in Jersey City, NJ on February 27, 1937 the son of Alfred and
Ruth (Colbeth) Scott and had resided in Charlestown most of his life.

He retired from Whitney Blake in Walpole in 1999, had previously worked at J
& L Machine Co in Springfield, VT for 19 years, also at Bomar in Charlestown
and CSI in Claremont.

He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Dawn (Royce) Scott on Feb. 20, 1987.

The surviving family includes his wife, Rose Ella (Hastings) Scott of
Charlestown whom he married on July 3, 1995; two sons, Dean E. Scott and
Dale E. Scott; one daughter, Darla S. Scott; three grandchildren; one
great-granddaughter; three step-daughters, Julie Tardiff, Lucy Tardiff and
Rose Ann Tardiff and four step-grandchildren.

There will be no visiting or funeral services at this time.

The Stringer's Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main Street is in charge of
arrangements.
