Evelyn Jane Hannah, 64, of 243 Broad Street, in Claremont, NH, died at the
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, Friday evening, April 22,
2005 surrounded by her family.   She was born in Northfield, VT on April 7,
1941 the daughter of George Howard and Hazel Florence (Emerson) Bell.  She
was raised in the Northfield and graduated from Barre, VT High School and
had resided in Claremont most of her life.

Mrs. Hannah worked in the shoe shops in Claremont and Newport, as an
inspector at Grobet File in Charlestown for several years and was a
bartender at several places including the Elms Hotel in Charlestown.

She was a member and Chaplain of the Women of the Moose, Chapter 629 of
Claremont.   She enjoyed playing bingo, going to Foxwood, playing on the
computer and watching TV. She especially loved her grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.

The surviving family includes one daughter, Robin Bell of Charlestown; two
sons, Randy Hannah of Claremont and Brian Hannah of Nashua; seven
grandchildren, Shawna Bell, Ian, Tyson and Ashley Chapman, Cassie, Kevin and
Angel Hannah;  two great-grandchildren, Adalina Bell and Cole McNamara.  She
was pre-deceased by one son, Kevin Hannah in 1986.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street on Friday
evening, April 29th from 6 to 7 PM, with the Women of the Moose conducting a
service at Seven O'clock at the Funeral Home.

The family suggest that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her
daughter, Robin Bell, 47 Morways Park, Charlestown, NH 03603.
