Evelyn Mary Osgood, 82, a former long time resident of Goyette Avenue in
Claremont died Thursday evening, October 26, 2006 at the Mount Ascutney
Hospital and Health Center in Windsor, Vt.  She was a native and nearly life
long resident of Claremont, NH, born on March 19, 1924 the daughter of
Edward E. and Philomine (Turcotte) Dubreuil  and had been a patient at Cedar
Hill Health Care Center in Windsor for the past three years.  Mrs. Osgood
was a graduate of St Mary's High School.

She worked in the mail room, sorting and delivering at Joy Manufacturing
Company, later at Sylvania in Hillsboro as a supervisor and retired in 1965.

Mrs. Osgood was a communicant of St Mary's Church and a member of the Ste.
Anne Society.

She was the widow of Dennis Wylie Osgood, Sr. whom she married on Jan. 2,
1945 and he died July 30, 1985.

The surviving family includes four sons, Dennis W. Osgood, Jr. and his wife
Juanita and Philip G. "Joe" Osgood and his wife Elaine all of Claremont,
Richard E. Osgood and his wife Carmen of Penacook and Wallace A. Osgood and
his wife Arlene of Plainfield; three daughters, Mrs. David (Beverly) Hatch,
of Las Vegas, NV, Miss Alice M. Osgood and companion, Joe Slabinski of
Gloucester, VA and Phyllis Osgood of Charleston, SC; eighteen
grand-children; nineteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and
nephews.

She was pre-deceased by four sisters, Theresa Y. Goewey in 1988, Margaret
Mercier in 1988, Simone F. Riviezzo in 1990 and Germaine White in 2005; one
brother, Richard "Joe" Dubreuil in 2002.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street on Monday
evening from 6 to 8 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning, October 31st
at Eleven O'clock in St Mary's Church with Rev. Father Shawn M. Therrien,
Pastor, officiating.   Interment will follow in St Mary's Cemetery.

The family suggest that in lieu of flowers donations may be made in her
memory to St Mary's School, 18 Central Street, Claremont, NH 03743.
