Ezra Leon Tatro, 72, of Meadow View Apts., Claremont Road in North
Charlestown, died Thursday evening, October 13, 2005 at the Valley Regional
Hospital in Claremont.

He was born in Tyson, VT on March 29, 1933 the son of Cleon Ezra and Etta
Hazel (Prior) Tatro and had resided in Claremont and Newport most of his
life. 

He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the US marine corp.
and was a member of the American Legion Post #29 of Claremont.

He worked at Ottauquechee Well Drilling out of Bridgewater, VT,  drilling
wells for several years later went into forestry and lumberman most of his
life.

He was the widower of Arline L. (Jones) Tatro who died October 1, 1989.

The surviving family includes, three sisters, Eleanor V. Pierce of Ascutney,
VT, Elaine E. Underwood of Swanton, VT and Elizabeth A. Hayward of Tyson,
VT; one brother, Ellsworth J. Tatro of Tyson, VT; one aunt, several nieces,
nephews and cousins and his companion, Joanne Mason of Charlestown.

There are no visiting hours.  A Graveside committal service will be held
Monday afternoon, October 17th at One 'clock at the Penniman Cemetery in
Plainfield, NH with Rev. "Bill" Sheldon Pastor of the Brownsville Methodist
Church, officiating.
