Florence Aldea Choquette, 82, formerly of North Street in Claremont, died
Saturday afternoon, February 17, 2007 at the Sullivan County Health Care.
She was born in Penacook, NH on August 29, 1924 the daughter of Albert A.
and Cora (Preve) LaFond. She resided in Claremont most of her life, in
Lakeland, FL for 15 years and for a short time in Lynn, MA.
Mrs. Choquette worked as a machinist at Joy Manufacturing Company from
1942 to 1943 and for General Electric in Lynn, MA from 1943 to 1945.
She was a communicant of St Mary's Church and a member of Court Virgil H.
Barber #892 Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
She was the widow of Roland R. Choquette who died in 1986.
The surviving family includes three daughters, Irene Sucharzewski and her
husband, Stanley of Claremont, Theresa Wein and Patricia Dahlbo both of
Laconia; one son, Armand Choquette of Jackson, FL; also several
grand-children and great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by an infant
daughter, Cynthia Choquette; one son, Raymond "Skip" Choquette and a
brother, Albert A. LaFond, Jr.
A Graveside committal service will be held Monday afternoon, June 25th, at
One-Thirty in St. Mary's Cemetery with Rev. Father Shawn M. Therrien Pastor
of St Mary's Church, officiating.
The Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street is in charge of arrangements.
The family suggest that donations mat be made in her memory to Sullivan
County Health Care, MacConnell Unit, 5 Nursing Home Drive, Unity, NH 03743.
