Frank J. Homiak, 83, of Jacqueline Avenue, died Saturday evening, April 22,
2006 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.

He was born in Newmarket, NH on July 17, 1922 the son of George and Rose
(Wiscarva) Homiak.

He was a graduate of Newmarket High School.

Mr. Homiak moved to Claremont in 1972 and ran Harry's Shoe Barn in the
Square for twenty years.  He had previously worked at Kingston-Warren Tool &
Die in Newfield, NH, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and Pratt & Whitney in
Connecticut.

He was a member of the Claremont Elk's Lodge #879 and was a Charter Member
of the Polish Club in Newmarket.

Frank will always be remembered for being a loving husband and father.

The family includes his wife, Clara (Malek) Homiak of Claremont; one son,
Gregory Homiak of Cornish; two daughters, Sharleen Homiak of Claremont and
Karen Homiak of Naples, FL; a sister, Mary Cohen of Florida and nieces,
nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by two brothers, John Homiak and Henry Homiak and two
sisters Stella Selickie and Lillian Bonnefant.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont
on Thursday morning from 10 to 11 AM.

Funeral services will follow Thursday at Eleven O'clock at the funeral home
with Rev. Father Stanley J. Piwowar, Pastor of St Joseph's Church and Rev.
Enid Watson co-officiating.  Burial will take place in Union Cemetery in
Claremont.

A reception will follow at the Elk's Lodge in Claremont.
