Frank J. Blaine, Jr., 82, of South Street in Claremont, NH, died Wednesday
morning, November 28, 2007 at his home.
He was born in Northfield, VT on March 20, 1925 the son of Frank J. and Dora
(Parsons) Blaine and had resided in Claremont most of his life.
He attended the Perkins Institute for the Blind.
Mr. Blaine taught guitar and caned chairs.
He was the widower of Bertha (Morey) Blaine whom he married on June 21, 1947
and she died May 24, 1978.
The surviving family includes three daughters, Mary J. Horton and her
husband, William of Rochester, NH, Sheila A. Hamel and her husband, John C.
of Batavia, NY and Dona Blaine of Claremont; four grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning, December 1st at Eleven
O'clock in the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont with
Shinhyung Ahn, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will follow in Mt View Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Saturday morning from 10 to 11 prior
to the services.
The family suggest that in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory and made
payable to Dona Blaine and mailed to Claremont Savings Bank,
P.O. Box 1600, Claremont, NH 03743-1600.
