She was born in Dordziszki, Poland on June 23, 1920 the daughter of Wiktor
and Malgorzata (Pawlowska) Ambros. She worked for Serry's Inc. in Hanover,
NH for 30 years and retired in 2004.
She loved flowers, gardening and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Mieczyslaw Staszkiewicz, whom she married on
June 16, 1946; four sons, Longin and his wife Nancy of Sunapee, NH, Tadeusz
R. and his wife Grazyna of Claremont, NH, Krzysztof C.of Manchester, NH and
Andrzej N and his wife, Patty of Goffstown, NH; four granchildren, Wojtek,
Katarzyna, Adam and Caitlin;
one brother, Longin Ambros and his wife, Melissa of Hartland, VT and nieces,
nephews and cousins.
Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad St., Claremont on
Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 8th at 1:30PM
in St. Joseph Church, Claremont with Rev. Fr. Stanley J. Piwowar, Pastor,
Officiating.
Interment will follow in Hartland Cemetery in Hartland, VT.
