Gerald F. "Jerry" Usery, 69, of Wayne Ave, Claremont, died Tuesday morning
at Valley Regional Hospital.

He was born in North Little Rock, Arkansas on July 17, 1938 the son of
Chester and Josephine (Bowers) Usery.

He served as a Navy Corpsman before settling in New England.

Jerry was a former administrator of Newport Hospital, then Claremont General
Hospital, where he was instrumental in the expansion of that facility to
Valley Regional Hospital.

The family includes his wife Ellen (Satzow) Usery.

Two sons: Gerald F. Usery Jr. and his wife Kyong S. their daughters Sylvia
and Tiffany.  And Terence J. Usery and his wife Maria C.

One Daughter: Lisa Terrel and her son Gavin Terrel.

Friends are invited to join the family in a remembrance of his life at The
Claremont Country Club, on Friday Nov. 23, 2007 at Two O'clock, where Jerry
was a longstanding member.
