Gladys W. Marshall, 86, of Unity, formerly of Borough Road in North Charlestown died on February 9, 2006. She was born in Fate, Texas on August 2, 1919, the daughter of Lee and Nellie (Louder) White. Gladys lived in West Hartford, CT from 1954 to 1975 and moved to North Charlestown in 1975. She has resided in Unity since 2000. She married Raymond Esdell Marshall on March 3, 1943. He passed away in April of 2005. Her surviving family includes one son, Dennis E. Marshall of Bellingham, MA; two grandchildren, Carol Michele Marshall and Christopher Raymond Marshall of North Guilford, CT; daughter-in-law, Michele R. Van Epps of North Guilford, CT; three sisters, Lillian Sheek of Lockney, TX,  Clyde Stringer of Midland, TX and Genevieve Deatherage of Locust Grove, OK two sisters-in-law, Mrs. John Fisher of Avon, CT and Mrs. Robert Marshall of Plattsburg, NY and nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by two sisters, Myrtle Lynn White and Bonnie Prickett. Graveside committal service will be held Saturday morning, March 4th at Eleven O'clock in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Elm Street in Rocky Hill, CT with Rev. John Van Epps, officiating.
