Gloria Dow, 72, formerly of Pearl Street in Claremont, NH, died Tuesday morning, August 15, 2006 at the Woodlawn Care Center in Newport. She was born in Lebanon, NH on June 28, 1934, was a graduate of Lebanon High School and had resided in Claremont most of her life. The surviving family includes a special friend of over thirty years, Pamela K. LaBounty of Claremont; one son, Craig Farnsworth of Claremont; three grandchildren and one aunt. Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street on Friday afternoon from 12:30 to 1:30 PM. A memorial service will be held Friday afternoon, Aug. 18th at 1:30 PM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Father Shawn M. Therrien, Pastor of St Mary's Church, officiating. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Stringer Funeral Home, to help with funeral expenses.
